Healer Ladrhyn Bexx also returned to Paignton this year with a different light machine to help induce altered states and shared consciousness. Participants, working in pairs under “Pandora star” flickering lights, tended to have shared mental images and experiences – most thought-provoking!

~I was invited to come along to this year’s spirituality meets science research and development Easter weekend and thought I would log some data to show the potential and experiences of the light machine.
With over 40+ people attending at the event, it was a lovely venue to explore consciousness at light & deep level. There were lectures and experiments on EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena), Skotography (spirit photo communication), Deep trance states, and grand circle experiments using research equipment, all with the use of an Aura camera to notice changes in mind/body/spirit, and alongside the two PandoraStars. It was enjoyable to see the public going under the PandoraStars for the first time in pairs to transfer telepathic data and research deep trance states for mediumship, healing, psychic awareness and beyond.
The owner of the spiritualist church welcomes us all as a team to use the space along with volunteers/participants to make this event really amazing, and it truly was.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to experience everything else as I was the facilitator and operator for the PandoraStar's, however, I enjoyed the event very much.
What is the Pandora and how it works:
The PandoraStar has now been out for a year (2016). It works by sending flickering light pulses from white LEDs in front of the users face with closed eye lids. The light stimulus is then picked up by the eyes response which is communicated to the visual cortex. The Thalamus within in the cerebal cortex in the brain then sends this information as pulses per second/strobes per second as the brains response creating an bioelectrical alpha rhytem or brainwave pattern response (if using ALPHA brainwaves frm 13-30hz. This brain-wave response as a cycle per second, can not only be recorded through EEG but you can also see very vivid visual geometric patterns, due to the star like layout of the LED lights.

By using a set of 12 LED lights in a star like pattern, the PandoraStar represents a similar geometric shape of the flower of life. The flower of life also contains the three dimensional metatrons cube, (the fruit of life), which holds all the Platonic solids,which at a geometric level are the building blocks of life, These geometric patterns can be visually seen and create many internal images, unique to the subconscious mind of the viewer. Allowing psychic images, remote viewing, thoughts, creativity, and visual patterns to manifest in front of their very eyes. Thus the same programme can be put on the Pandora for a number of individuals, and each person will perceive, feel and experience a totally unique visual experience only to them.
The flickering/strobing lights entrains the brain instantly and more powerful (also known as photic driving). Photic driving has been around since 1929 discovered by Hans Berger, finding that the wave (frequency) could be driven beyond its natural frequency using light stimulation of that of flickering lights.
Brainwave entrainment/Binaural beats has been around since 100AD, first discovered by Claudius Ptolemy, a writer, mathematician, astronomer, geographer, astrologer and poet.
However it is only in the past 50 years has its popularity become more widely known with great results which have been documented to change a persons health, vitality and state of mind.
As well as PandoraStar giving you brainwave entrainment to access deep states, the meditative light machine also gives you some relaxing and enjoyable visuals or also known as "meditative closed eyed mandalas". Almost similar to an psychedelic experience, or a visual shamanic journey that you could not achieve without the Pandora.
In return, you get a drug free (safe) visual trip that when opening your eyes after the session, do not have any prolonging known side effects, apart from feeling, energised, relaxed, focused and deep in consciousness. Enabling to push you and take you deeper. Usually people come out of the experience feeling better than they were, or gone very deep, or had a personal mind blowing experience.
Before the event I was asked to create three unique dedicated programmes and binaural beat tracks to go along side of the programmes for three main brainwave states, ALPHA, THETA & DELTA.
Alpha - 13-30hz - Is active awake, daydreaming and used in hypnosis.
Theta - 4-7hz - is super-conscious and promotes meditation and light sleep
Delta - 0.1hz - 4hz is very deep and is used in the sleep state and used in dreaming.
PandoraStar comes with an programmable sequence editor (software), which if you purchase one, you can use to create any programme you like from any length of time. Using either sine or square waves to induce altered states. The PandoraStar is a high end consciousness exploration tool to enabling you or other users as training wheels as a lift off point to achieve states much faster.
I only used sine waves in the programmes, because of the amount of people attending at the event. The reason being, is that usually square waves of photic light stimulation has been known to evoke epilepsy, which causes spikes and wave discharge of light stimulation. Square waves can be erratic and too intense to the viewer which can sometimes but not always cause this disorder, if participants have reactions to strobing lights.
Although the team at PandoraStar are not medical doctors or scientists, we never suggest that PandoraStar is a substitute for medication or can cure illness. However treatments under the light have happened due to the nature of its potential in generating unexplored states of consciousness, and opening up the minds neurological pathways to connect ourselves deeper.
Consciousness and mind over matter is the “software” for our hardware to our human body and drives everything. So the light is able to help push you past the limitations of the mind with ease, and take you much further.
We do have many years of knowledge in the field of meditation, brainwave frequencies and hands-on experience. So we only suggest that the Pandora is used for exploring states of consciousness, usually for consciousness exploration, I.e, Lucid dreaming, Meditation, Shamanic journeying and exploring the dream state etc.
Low-frequency sine wave stimulation has been known as a clinical therapy for partial-onset epilepsy. However, although these results are found on the internet, we still do not advise that individuals with epilepsy go under the Pandora, only at their own free will, once they have signed their consent to us. If however, they choose too, we start off the PandoraStars at their lowest intensity/brightness being at 30% which is not so intense for first time users, and usually 99% of individuals I have personally put under the Pandora with known cases and history of epilepsy, who have willingly wanted to go under the light, they usually have no issues and have enjoyed the experience with no bad reactions.
Mostly the 1-2% of people not enjoying the PandoraStar is usually down to personal preference.
Sine waves are the most common seen long waves which are seen on graphs, they are long and slow and are seen as a mathematical curve that describes a smooth repetitive oscillation.
Square waves are not so commonly seen and are a repetition of square-like oscillations, also known as a pulse train, or pulse wave. Which consist of instantaneous transitions between two levels, and square waves are usually the cause of people prone to epilepsy.
The pre-made programmes using sine waves had no intention to induce psychedelic closed eyelids visuals, however, people still experienced beautiful visuals and patterns, which they also enjoyed.
The PandoraStar attracts people from all walks of life, because you can programme it from anything from (Delta) 0.1hz -> (Lambda) 200hz, exploring the whole human consciousness spectrum and beyond, using light to stimulate brainwave activity to explore deep states of consciousness much faster than you could on your own with years of meditation.
To access fully conscious states, sleep states, shamanic journeying, hypnosis,, focusing, creativity, relieving phobias, aiding in anxiety, stress, emotional issues, lucid dreaming, better sleep....etc.... "the list goes on"
Right now you should be in BETA operating somewhere between 13-30hz and occasionally going into ALPHA 7-13hz to process this information by thinking and visualising.
So far there have been 8 known brainwave states which are an umbrella of many different frequencies of consciousness, which you usually enter into during your 24 hour period.
The first day at Paignton Spiritualist church, I was instructed to only use ALPHA frequencies from 7-13hz (7-13 cycles per second). Which was to promote active & awake and daydreaming states, to get participants acclimatised to the light to prepare them for the next day to explore ALPHA, THETA & DELTA.
From out of 12 people using the “EXACT SAME PROGRAMME” on the first day using ALPHA I got them all to write down in separate pieces of paper what they saw and experienced. All the LED lights are white only, there are no colour, apart from three warm LED lights at the centre of the PandoraStar.
The results were:
1- Vivid Light and mathematical shapes
2- Likened to carousel to begin with – then pure light and clouds, followed by many patterns alike rain drops falling on water – Large eye
3 – Very quickly I felt the nervous system was being healed – As I felt twinges/tingling in the weaker areas of my body. Lovely
4 – All spectrum of vivid colours & shapes. Contentious of 3 spheres in the background of images. Vibrant turquoise/yellow
5 – vibrating slowly down my arms and body. All colours not symmetrical, charging in between a grey background for 3 seconds then profusion of colours – Good
6 – Sound and vision → movement → multi shapes/colours → travelling in tunnel → Freeze frames of past lives.
7 – Hugging in the sky, Matrix, Spider webs, psychedelic colours, yellow, blues, seaweed.
8 – Very trippy – Universal – Journeying – Reds, Cells in human body.
9 – Very intense bright colours, reds, yellows, blues, occasionally white, red snow, sword image & female warrior
10 – Every light imaginable senses of life flashing before my eyes
11- whites and purples like snowdrops turning into fractals of blue dots
12 – kaleidoscopic mandalas and energetic patterns of oranges, then black & pinks.
Day two of PandoraStar sessions, involved using three sessions of an hour and hald each of ALPHA, THETA & DELTA programmes. Using the pre-made binaural tones on headphones to go with the programmes. All sessions were 10 minutes long only and involved two participants.
I have logged some data, including day one of ALPHA (HYPNOSIS) and day two (ALPHA, THETA & DELTA).
The idea was to have a shared consciousness experience in pairs to enhance their mind to get them into altered states.
Going under the Pandora they linked up in twos at a time and had to tune into each other to receive and give telepathic messages, entering into the dream-state, using clairvoyance and clairaudience and dive deep into brainwave states.

1 person experienced very hot hands & feeling spaced out (in a good way)
1 person had prolonged sensations of euphoria which lasted 5 hours
