Academy of Non-Physical Studies Ltd
Influences and Recognized Practices in Non‑Physical Studies
The Academy of Non‑Physical Studies Ltd draws upon a broad range of methodologies, research traditions, and experiential practices developed by leading figures, organizations, and institutions world wide engaged in the study of consciousness and non‑physical phenomena.
The Academy is not formally affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any of the individuals or organizations referenced. Their work is acknowledged for its historical, educational, and investigative value and serves as a foundation for structured study and informed exploration in future studies.
Students of all ages engage with these recognized practices as a means of examining human consciousness and non‑physical phenomena through disciplined inquiry, hands‑on investigation, and experiential learning. Emphasis is placed on critical observation, methodological awareness, and direct experience, allowing participants to explore these fields within a grounded and academically rigorous environment.
The Academy’s focus spans multiple domains, including sleep and dreaming studies, lucid dreaming, out‑of‑body experiences, mental and physical mediumship, psychic development, Seances, neuro‑sensory research, spiritual healing, phenomena, breathwork, and sound‑ and light‑based technologies. These areas function as educational reference points, supporting the advancement of understanding in consciousness and non‑physical realities that surround our current physical reality.
The Academy of Non-Physical Studies Ltd is not establishing a religion or spiritual cult. Rather, the intention is to cultivate an alliance of diverse research programs, institutions, and experiential practices within a unified framework for the study of consciousness and non-physical phenomena. Our goal is to disseminate knowledge, raise awareness, and provide structured study of psychic and non-physical abilities, so that seekers are guided by evidence, practice, and direct experience, rather than being lost or misled.

From these influences and reference traditions, Academy of Non-Physical Studies Ltd structures its work into defined domains of inquiry. These domains are not treated as belief systems, doctrines, or fixed conclusions, but as areas of systematic investigation through which consciousness and non-physical phenomena may be examined, experienced, and critically assessed.
The following domains represent the Academy’s core research and educational focus. They are designed to support progressive learning, interdisciplinary exploration, and experiential study, while allowing students and researchers to engage with non-ordinary states of consciousness in a responsible, structured, and methodologically informed manner.
Each domain functions as a framework for study rather than a prescriptive model, encouraging participants to develop observational skill, discernment, and personal understanding through direct experience, guided practice, and reflective analysis.

The Academy of Non-Physical Studies Ltd is founded with the explicit intention of continuity beyond the lifespan of its founder. It is conceived not as a personal project, but as a living, evolving field of study and collaboration, designed to endure through shared stewardship, rigorous inquiry, and collective contribution.
The Academy’s long-term vision is to bring together facilitators, researchers, authors, lecturers, mediums, physical mediums, artists, sound practitioners, healers and experiencers such as content creators, and psychically-sensitive individuals within a unified educational and research framework. By fostering collaboration across disciplines, the Academy seeks to dissolve artificial boundaries between experiential practice, investigative research, and creative exploration, while maintaining clarity, integrity, and methodological awareness.
At its core, the Academy is committed to the hands-on study, with direct experience, and applied research in consciousness and non-physical phenomena. Learning is intended to be intergenerational, inclusive, and experiential, supporting participants of all ages in the development of understanding, discernment, and practical skill so we can evolve together in unity and knowledge. For Knowledge is not treated as static or hierarchical, but as something refined through observation, shared inquiry, and lived experience.
The Academy operates through both physical and distributed models. Parsonage Side Retreat serves as an existing residential and experiential foundation, supporting retreats, research gatherings, and focused study. Looking forward, the Academy envisions additional physical centres in accessible urban and international locations, including London, Scotland, America, Australia, Spain etc alongside a robust global and online presence. This hybrid structure allows for local depth and global reach, enabling participation regardless of geography.
As a research and educational institution, the Academy remains open to grants, funding opportunities, partnerships, and collaborative initiatives that align with its values and objectives. While many communities exist within related fields, the Academy is distinguished by its explicit integration of education, research, experiential practice, and long-term knowledge preservation.
Founded by Ladrhyn Bexx in 2025, whose lived experience spans multiple decades of consciousness inquiry reflected throughout this curriculum, the Academy draws upon personal exploration not as doctrine, but as a catalyst for structured study and the exploration of consciousness and non-physical phenomena. The founder’s role is to initiate, gather, and align these diverse strands into a coherent framework that can be carried forward by future educators, researchers, and practitioners. Ideally these persona and places of information have research either in the scientific form or from multiple witness accounts to verify its affectedness.
The enduring intention of the Academy of Non-Physical Studies Ltd is that the work continues: that knowledge is shared, refined, questioned, and expanded; that research evolves; and that future generations are supported in exploring consciousness with curiosity, responsibility, and intellectual honesty.
This Academy is established not to conclude inquiry, but to ensure it continues.
