Light headaches
In my experience of light machines the past 7 years, being my own guinea pig, but most importantly having clients, both myself and individuals using the light have experience headaches and migraines diminishing with the presence of strobing light, or via mind machine lamps. Usually, the feedback is that those who sit down for a session, usually report to me after saying "oh my headache has gone" or I would say, how do you feel now "yeah good, oh i don’t have a headache anymore. Which has to lead to me understanding that strobe lights using LEDs from light machines, has actually helped heal their headaches.
Usually light is what triggers headaches for some individuals, especially flashing lights. However, from my experience, strobing light machines have now been made a valuable treatment for headaches.
The history of light for migraines first came in the late 1980s by a Neurologist by the name of Dr Duncan Anderson. Documented from the Royal Postgraduate Medical School at Hammersmith Hospital in London. He found that when a flickering red light of 30hz (cycles per second) was shone in the patient’s eyes, they experienced the migraine going completely, or usually a huge reduction in their headaches.
Shortly after in 1997 a light device as a home remedy mask was invented for people to ease problems Which is a great treatment because replying to drugs or medicine for the problem can lead one’s body to become immune to the dose.
However like many things out there, this light device didn't work with everyone, as a survey was done, some experienced total elimination while others no effect at all. They were all told to use the light therapy device for at least 15 minutes a day, the light was designed to shine with the eyes closed, using the factory settings on the device. Using 30Hz in each eye, and switching from left to right eye cupping, or putting it in total darkness. Like with everything, not everything works with everyone. I have been under the light machine when I have had an intense headache or migraine, sometimes it helps, other times it doesn't. But its good to have these alternatives at hand, as such with a light machine device.
